NOT RECRUITING Description: Alcon is conducting a Phase II/III clinical trial of an eye drop known as AL-8309B for the treatment of advanced dry age-related macular degeneration (geographic atrophy). Outcomes being measured are lesion growth and visual acuity. Approximately 550 participants are enrolled in the two-year study. Trial Status: Ongoing; not recruiting.
