Local VisionWalk Leader and High School Graduate Honored By Henryville Key Club
On Wednesday, May 22, 2013 the members of Henryville High School’s Henryville Key Club presented Louisville VisionWalk Youth Chair, Ty Griffin, with a $500 check for his 2013 walk team. WHAS11’s Melissa Swan, Honorary Chair for the VisionWalk, attended to surprise Ty and help present this honor to him. Griffin’s VisionWalk team, Team TY, raises funds for the Foundation Fighting Blindness each year. In 2012, Ty and his family raised over $5,000 for important sight-saving research projects being funded by FFB. Ty is a graduating senior of Henryville High School and will be attending Evansville University this fall.
