Indianapolis Chapter Featured Volunteer

Gil & Jeanne Iames got involved with the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) in November 2011 when their son, Joe, was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a congenital, degenerative eye disease. Currently there is no cure or treatment for RP, and Gil & Jeanne are more determined than ever to help spread the word and raise much needed funds for research. FFB is the conduit in which their hopes and prayers may be answered. “FFB has been raising money for years to support important research to help cure blinding eye diseases. Only through research like this does our son have a fighting chance to retain or restore what many of us take for granted: Sight.”
