In February, the Kansas City Chapter hosted an Open House at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. It was a great opportunity to talk to representatives of local service organizations that deal with the visually impaired as well as to get information on specific retinal diseases. Over 40 people attended!
Many thanks to the following organizations and representatives for their participation:

The vision of the Kansas City Chapter is to partner with each of these organizations and others to promote awareness of the services available for the visually impaired in the Greater Kansas City area. We envision that our website will become the go-to resource for information on research, education, services, equipment and specialists. We will continue to promote events and post technical and social support available from each.
So stay tuned for more news as our vision evolves!
