Permanent Cosmetic Procedures
Patti Pruitt, a forever friend of FFB and Atlanta Chapter board member, along with her husband Tony, made it a mission to identify a beauty spa and paramedic aesthetician in every major city throughout the United States to offer discounts on make-up services for their visually impaired clients. Patti, who is affected by RP, has worked diligently on this project and women all over the country are benefitting from her sensitivity and determination.
The following offer discounts to visually impaired clients:
Austin Plastic Surgery Institute offers permanent cosmetic procedures for the visually impaired or blind at a 20% discount on makeup procedures - eyeliner - eyebrows - lips. Eyeliner and brows are usually $500 so that would be $100 savings, and lips are $650. The price includes a touch-up appointment one month after the initial procedure.
