Welcome!

Our chapter is one of many across the country that works very hard to help people affected by retinal degenerative diseases stay current on the latest research and developments for retinal degenerative diseases. As a chapter, we provide a sense of community, hope and action toward finding treatments, preventions and cures!

We create the opportunity for members to share knowledge about support services and other opportunities that are available in the Northern Virginia and metro area. We will hear from retinal specialists, low vision specialists, mobility instructors, vision rehabilitation teachers, researchers, etc., to learn about many local resources, as well as resources throughout the region. 

We have two presentations during the year as part of our Chapter Speaker Series, hold coffee and pizza socials and host the annual Northern Virginia VisionWalk and Dining in the Dark gala. 

We are building an engaged and active chapter leadership to carry the spirit of the Foundations Co-Founders Ben Berman and Gordon Gund. Their vision is our vision
