The Philadelphia VisionWalk was presented with the Foundation’s Member Excellence VisionWalk Strides Award for a large market at the VISIONS 2012 national conference in Minneapolis in June. The honor, which recognizes significant improvement of a VisionWalk, acknowledges the event’s growth and success as the fall season’s largest walk. Congratulations to all of the walk chairs, team captains and participants!

Over 1,200 people joined us on a beautiful, sunny fall day at Independence National Historical Park on October 22nd. It was an amazing celebration of spirit, energy, and commitment to finding a cure for blindness! ! Our walk is highlighted in the brand new VisionWalk video.
