Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter Presentation

Gene Therapy Treatments for Blindness

Please join us for light refreshments and hear from two unique guest speakers. Dr. Robert Sisk, M.D., F.A.C.S, from Cincinnati Eye Institute will provide an update on Advances in the Management of Retinal Dystrophies. You will also hear the compelling story from one of Dr. Sisk’s patients; a local teen who received the gene therapy treatment. Her previous doctor had told her that, by the time she was 18 years old, she would wake up blind. She’s now 18, very thankful, and wants others to know her story.
